Rendering

renderingphoto1Rendering is basically another word for external plastering. Years ago, rendering was used to hide poor quality external walls, but more recently, has become a more desired feature of houses and other structured dwellings.

Most cottages and houses built of rubble stone would have been rendered originally and they tend to suffer from penetrating damp if the lime render is removed or replaced with a cement rich render.

The textured wall coatings that we use provide a protective membrane, shielding masonry walls from the elements and preventing penetrating damp. Whilst they prevent penetrating damp they still enable walls to breathe through their microporous nature.

Our breathable wall coatings will not only protect your property from the harshest weather conditions but they also provide a first class, professional finish.

Render is available in a range of colours and textures and with our experienced plasterers they can transform any property. The more known coatings are known as Coloured Render, K Rend and Cement Render.

IR Plastering can render using a variety of different techniques and materials to give that perfect finish. In some circumstances a simple patch up render repair is possible. Whatever your enquiry may be, you can be sure you will receive no nonsense professional advice.
